The effect of the conference will be a scientific publication in the form of a book, scientific articles, published post-conference reports, which, if properly disseminated, will contribute to changing social awareness in relation to the treatment of cancer patients, especially in the humanistic aspect.

The results in relation to particular groups of addressees of the conference and post-conference publications will be slightly different.

In the case of medics employed in oncology wards (oncologist, oncology nurse, psycho-oncologist, physiotherapist), the expected effect will be: updating knowledge about anti-cancer treatment, complications in the disease and treatment; awareness of the needs and problems of the patient and his relatives not only in the biological dimension, but above all in the mental, social and spiritual (holistic) dimension.
